As we enter our fourteenth year of operations, ARROW’s strength continues to be our special niche in the region as a women’s health and rights programme which focuses on:

i. The strategic dissemination of action-oriented information, materials and analytical tools;

ii. Research, monitoring and evidence-based policy advocacy at national, regional and international levels; and

iii. Strengthening of the women’s movement through capacity building and partnership development.

As the first full year of implementing our five-year (2006 – 2011) organisational strategic plan, much of our work this year involved ‘gearing-up’ for the challenge of delivering on all our five objective areas, which include information and communications, monitoring and research, capacity building and advocacy, partnership development and organisational development.
