Global Report on Trafficking in Persons 2016

The thematic focus of the 2016 edition of the Global Report investigates how migrants and refugees can be vulnerable to trafficking in persons en route or at destination. The report is organised in three main analytical chapters. Chapter I provides a global overview of the patterns and flows of trafficking in persons and an overview of the status of country-level legislation and the criminal justice response to the trafficking crime. Chapter II presents an analysis of trafficking in persons in the broader perspective of migration and conflict, while Chapter III contains in-depth analyses by region.
